25 guests' feedbackIt was great fun, had my wedding in Riebeek-Kasteel and got ready at Obiekwa, it took the best photos.
The pool was perfect for the hot summer days and the bedrooms were equipped with fans. We had a good breakfast at DeliCo nearby after we left .
The host is wonderful. She was easy to reach, and her proximity to the house made communication easy, although you would not know she is there. The fans helped in the hot weather, and the pool was a definite winner with the family.
Spacious accommodation with a lovely garden and pool. Enjoyed the big verandah where one can relax and eat meals. The only problem was a faulty remote switch for one of the ceiling light/fans, and another bathroom had a flickering globe. We advised the owner who lives in an adjacent cottage on site. Unfortunately, the remote was not something she could fix. The location is perfect for walking into town where there are lots of interesting shops and restaurants to explore. A great place for a weekend getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Obiekwa Country House. Lynn was very helpful and the house was perfect for our needs with an en-suite bathroom for every bedroom. A gas cylinder and battery operated lights were available for the load shedding hours which was appreciated. We loved spending time in the covered braai area which had a huge table with a beautiful view. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
The house has a farm feel and a very nice porch with a braai area. The garden is beautiful and the rooms very comfortable. Riebeeck Kasteel has many nice places to eat and hang out to enjoy.
It was a girls' weekend, we could dance and sing and swim. Lynn made us feel so comfortable at the country house.
Obiekwa served as a great weekend destination for our needs. Super comfy beds, amazing garden, and the kids gave the swimming pool a thumbs up.
Big enough for people to enjoy together, rooms are spacious with bathrooms. Covered porch with enough space for everyone overlooking the beautiful garden with a nice swimming pool just around the corner.
Central enough but not in town. The perfect weekend away stay. Great host.
The guest house was very nice except that we struggled with hot water. The crockery in the kitchen was not clean and we had to wash everything over. There is also a need for a meat tray and new cutlery. No steak knives. Everything else was great.
A great escape from the busy city life, the venue offers a relaxed and comfortable setting. The town has some great eateries and wine farms should you wish to venture out for the day. The host Lynne is also very friendly.

We enjoyed it a lot.
Beautiful house. Neat and clean. Ample space. Interior deco very tasteful. The only thing lacking was a dish in which you can put the braai meat after a braai, and possible also more teaspoons. There were only 4 in the kitchen. Apart from that everything was 100%. Thank you!
Can definitely recommend it.
There are 2 small trees that obstruct the view to the vineyards. There is coffee and tea and sugar but no milk?! There is no power plug in the bathroom. Maybe a mirror near a wall plug to blow hair. The big thick blanket in the closet was not clean and fresh.
