We were received very kindly, helped quickly and referred to our unit. Beautiful rooms just like in photos that are clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Great rest while watching the rain outside the Karoo. Can recommend the accommodation with great confidence.

After I complained about poor service, the owner writes me an email while I'm on site - instead of talking to me. I had to invite her for a conversation - which then took place. Owner talks a lot without addressing the real complaints. Just excuses. No explanation of poor communication with guests. The representation and the reality are not the same. Some rooms/units are on other premises in the town and not on the guesthouse's property. The photos don't reflect it either. The photos also show delicious seafood on the menu, but when the menu is presented, there is no such thing. Misleading.
The hospitality and WhatsApp information about the Lodge and their menu was appreciated. Also, they accommodated me with a late meal ordering. The meals were definitely very nice with the Karoo lamb chops. The unit was everything you need away from home. Clean and crisp sheets and TV with all the channels you need, was definitely appreciated. Thanks.

It was okay. Fine for a stay over on a road trip as there is nothing to do in De Aar. Door to room couldn't lock and the shower cabin in the other room was broken. Also please note if you don't pre-order food, you won't eat. Restaurant is town pretty dismal. Breakfast was fine.

We stayed in a newly added apartment which was very neat and clean. The service was excellent and convenient. Well equipped and ample space. The shower needs a grab bar and maybe a little stool for older people. We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast there was lovely.

The first bedroom is furnished with 2 double beds and a single bed while the second bedroom has a double bed. The bathroom is fitted with a bath and a shower. A hairdryer and safe are provided. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. The lounge presents a sleeper couch for 2 children and other amenities include DStv and Wi-Fi.
