We stayed in Mango 1. Safe area. On our arrival, we were received by the friendly host. The place was neat and clean. The only recommendation is to consider removing the smallest step to the bedroom. My husband missed that step because it was so low, forgot there was one, and fell flat on his face. Ample safe parking space for cars and trailers. I will definitely recommend @ Mango's. We will be staying there again on our next visit.

The room was immaculate and the bed incredibly comfortable! The complimentary rusks were so divine, and the grounds of the guest house were well manicured and just gorgeous! We will definitely repeat a stopover on our cross-country drives and hope to even come for a long weekend.

We and our adult children slept over twice. It was delicious and neat. We also had a nice barbecue and everything we needed was there.

Everything works and is neat and very spacious. Very comfortable and all arrangements went smoothly.
We requested a mattress for our baby, which was confirmed by Irma, but she forgot about it. We had to pay extra for this, which she did not reimburse, nor for an extra adult. We are grateful for that. Unfortunately, we then had to make the bed on the ground for our baby with blankets that we found in the closet, after she said he should just sleep on the bed with us. We had to get up at 2 in the morning and drive because he couldn't sleep peacefully.

@ Mango's is a cozy place to stay overnight with lovely cozy winter sheets, electric blankets and perfect pillows, blankets and duvets.

Safe parking off the street. The most comfortable bed I have slept in. Very close the Karoo national park where we did a day trip with their multiple self-drive options. Couldnt have asked for a better stop and only 5 hours from Cape Town.

The one and only thing I can say that is negative is that the morning of our departure (we wanted to leave at 06:00), we did not have enough hot water for 2 showers — by the time my husband got in, the water was cold. That was not pleasant. Otherwise, everything else was great.
So nice that there is solar! We had power through loadshedding and with a small baby it made all the difference! The unit is beautifully clean every time, and makes you feel right at home! Beautiful amenities inside and out! Thank you very much, Mango team!

It's a cozy little place with a cute outdoor area. Ideal for a quick night's sleep on the way to bigger cities. The linen was clean and tidy. Some work is needed, e.g. the bathroom (shower head and toilet seat) could be redone and the pots in the kitchen were unfortunately so burnt that we couldn't cook.

I specifically requested a "firm" bed. Previous reviews warned of a hollow mattress, but we were assured the bed was "brand new". This is the worst quality mattress ever! Old technology innerspring that feels like you're sleeping in a dinghy. I consider a Genesis or Cloud9 a proper bed. People, pay attention to the reviews! However, the cherry on the cake was no hot water for shower etc. which resulted in a cold shower, after 9 hours on the road! Accommodation from hell? 10 to 1.

This was the most luxurious stay-over experience I have had in Beaufort West. Before arrival, we received a location pin, contact info and the load-shedding schedule which was very helpful. We were welcomed by the friendly Herman and the two resident dogs who were super sweet and respectful of the guests. The room was lovely with a king-size bed so comfortable that it made me want to stay longer to catch up on some sleep. The spaciousness made it easy to move around and the veranda is a lovely place to sit with a cup of tea. The tea/coffee amenities were great with some self-catering touches such as a toaster, microwave and mini fridge. The bathroom is luxurious with a deep bath and a double vanity which gives you bathroom envy. This is all set in a peaceful part of town not far from the main road. There is safe off-street parking for your car (and trailer if you have one). Would highly recommend staying here. Will definitely be my first choice going forward.

Little touches such as providing tea, coffee, rusks and even milk made the stay so much more easier. Cold bottled water was most welcome in the searing heat. We helped our children move to the Cape. From the first call to our reception, we were warmly received. Our host was waiting for us when we checked in late and received us kindly. @Mango's is ideal for people who are on their way from the North to the Cape to sleep over. It is beautiful in the middle of the road from Bloemfontein to the Cape and one can spend the night peacefully in the guest house to take on the long road again the next day.

The room is very cute and has everything one needs. The environment is dead quiet and away from traffic. . There is also convenient parking behind a security gate. . Thank you very much. We will definitely stay there again if we drive to the Cape.

Mango 5 is a beautiful unit that perfectly combines old and new and is equipped with everything you need. We were driving a large trailer and there was plenty of room to park and turn around. Irma is very friendly and efficient. Their beds and bedding are of outstanding quality and sleep wonderfully. Would highly recommend it.
Upon arrival I was very warmly welcomed and I was able to relax. It was so nice to be able to stay there.

The air conditioners in the rooms were lovely.
The room is very neat and nicely furnished, and clean. There was a.o. tea, coffee and biscuits in the room, as well as a small carton of milk and a bottle of water in the fridge. My car was conveniently parked nearby and safe through the night.

Die hele ondervinding was uiters indrukwekkend. Irma het vooraf kontak gemaak en presies geweet hoe laat ons arriveer en Riaan het ons ingewag. Ons was nie voorbereid op die absolute oase wat ons begroet het toe ons die kamerdeur oopmaak nie - die werklikheid oortref enige foto. Die kamer waarin ons oornag het, was ruim met 'n pragtige kombuishoekie en groot badkamer. Die dekor was smaakvol en luuks - ons het baie bederf gevoel. Ons het in beurtkrag arriveer en ook hier was voorsiening getref met meer as genoeg alternatiewe. Ons oornag ondervinding by @Mango's was 'n belewenis en absolute waarde vir geld. @Mango's is definitief hoogs aan te beveel.

The rooms we stayed in are spacious and very tidy. There are warm blankets on the beds and the blankets are of good quality. Although there was loadshedding, they really made an effort to at least put some light in the house. Same as above.

It lacks a table and 2 chairs to sit at when you eat. Otherwise you have to sit on the bed which is high and not practical. Or eat outside and if it rains. Short a table and chairs.
Room's bathroom door opens awkwardly and perhaps from the wrong side. Otherwise good stay and safe.
As we are only 2 people we opted for the smallest room. We stayed in Mangos 3 on our way down. I must be honest and say it was neat and tidy but it was extremely small. We had a lot of luggage and we battled to move around with that. On our way back we got a bigger room it was still for only 2 peopl. We paid a bit more, but it was definitely worth spending more. Mangos 3 is really tiny, but if you don't have a lot of luggage you will be fine. You cannot see from the pics how small the unit really is. However, having said all that, we enjoyed both nights with Mangos. Will definitely stay there again. Just not in the small unit.

This was our second time staying here. The unit is fully equipped with everything one could need. Very safe and away from the noise of the busy main road that runs through town. The air conditioning in both bedrooms is very welcome, especially in the hot summers of the Karoo town.

@ Mango's is our only and recommended choice for an overnight stay in Beaufort West. We have been visiting Mango's for the past three years, once a year on our way to the Garden Route. The unit is luxurious and neat and a home away from home.

We enjoyed staying 2 nights at Mango's. The accommodation was top notch and all facilities excellent as advertised. Mango's is located in a quiet area and the shops in town are close enough to be easily reached by car. There is enough space for vehicles (we had a trailer too) and can park under a shade net behind security gates. Mangos can definitely be recommended for a peaceful and pleasant overnight stay and also for longer periods than one night. We could have easily stayed longer if our itinerary had allowed it.

Did have Eskom load shedding from 20:00 to 22:00 and therefore could not watch DStv. Chose to enjoy dinner at Spur.
It was really an oasis for us after a long and hot journey to get there and be kindly received and to be able to make ourselves at home in this extremely neat unit. The coffee was definitely a hit (especially for the coffee pot teenager in my house)! It has everything and more needed for a comfortable overnight stay! It is highly recommended and deserves a 5 star rating!
